At first I grinded d18 pistols with the optional scope, now combined with all of the items together it practicaly fetches 230 xp. I am currently grinding towars master firearms crafting so I can super-grind the rest of the trees. Once you reach level 2 of firearms, grind dl20a rifles complete with optional scope and stock. that gives you a total of 421 xp practiced. Then once you hit level 2 of firearms, grind either the same dl20a rifles, or tusken rifles. if you grind TR's keep a minimal inventory and craft 20 Projectile Feed Mechanisms and 20 Projectile Rifle Barrels at a time. if you do 20 thats 2.5k plus the 10 tusken rifles (1.1k) thats 3.6k. Do what I did when I was grinding DL20a's make enough components for 10 rifles at a time. that gives you 4210 xp. Hope that helps. ~Rahmesh

Actually, instead of grinding full weapons and all their components, start off grinding metal staves -> 4 slots all using metal. You'll get somewhere around 94xp for each.

After you hit Firearms II, go with projectile rifle barrels -> 2 slots, although you'll haveto use steel. You get around 98xp per barrel. (general forumla is 2 X the number of resources, + 6 xp for practicing)

It's a lot more efficient grinding just one type of item thanbuilding everything to make weapons. It appears youwill get more xp for doing full weapons, however that's because you are having to craft each of the components first and then youget a little xp for actualy putting the weapon together - not much though.

Hope this helps.

Did you know that missions from the artisan terminals scale their difficulty based on your combat level?

How does this make any sense?
