I'm looking to have a weaponsmith make me a scythe blade. I was wondering exactly what it will take to do so. Such as what components are very important towards the overall quality of the blade. Not just make a blade. But, a very good one. Looking for something that is very fast. I posted here to ask about a flamer awhile back and that turned out very well.

All you should bring the WS is the schematic and some genosian sword cores, or a pile of power cubes and a sword core schematic as well.

The Scythe requires 2 identical sword cores, so you need, at the very least, three identical cubes to make one weapon.

White is a space-filler

Yellow is damage

Green is condition

Red is HAMs

Or, if you had some nice loot cores, those could possibly be better. The standad drop is 25/25. Last time I crafted them they were 32/32. I have seen reports of these getting pretty good stats.

The WS will have the other resources needed, as it's just Phrik Aluminum and Carbonite steel. UT should be as high as possible. Carb steel SR caps at 958 and Phrik SR caps at 900.

I made myself a couple Scythes the other day and got 2.6 speed and 310 Damage, AP2. 91% Experimentation.That was with white-cube crafted cores. You will need rockin cores or really nice yellow cubes to boost that up. Anything lower would be indicitive of poor resources or the use of junk 25/25 sword cores.

If you're bringing yellow cubes, you'll want to rustle up some geo solidying agents as well. I got some +19 toothpaste last night and I was stoked!

If you bring your smith 7 matching yellows and 7 matching toothpastes -- allowing her to squeeze another two scythes out of one schem -- she'll cut you a deal on your scythe and pay your house maint for a year!

Yellow ones rock, I made a [email protected] speed one last night, sliced it to 445max.
