Thread: Customer Vent: Before I blow!

I've got to vent this.....
I'm standing at the bizaar, just trying to use the new vendor search to get some rhodium steel. Can't find any, so I close the window. Lo and behold, in the spatial I see my name. Again, and again and again someone keeps shouting my name.
Oh, boy. I can see where this is going.
I ask what the guy wants.A scatter pistol.
No problem, in fact, I just grabbed some doonium iron off one of my harvs. I can do that. Then I ask the dreaded question:
What damage range are you looking for.
Yeah, I know its a loaded question, but still, sometimes people are looking for krayt or ackley or nym enhanced, so I always ask, just to be on the safe side. Heck, if its low enough I just pop out the droid and make it for them on the spot. Anyway, since he's looking for a BH weapon and he's flashing the Teras Kasi tag I figure he's looking for a jedi slaying weapon.
At least 1000 points. More if you can make it.
Now, I've only been a master WS for about a month or so now, but even *I* know this is damn near impossible.So I explainhow I've onlymade them in the 130 (real bad) to 220 (Krayted) range.So, he then asks me to do the best I can. Ok, now I figure,for laughs, I should ask how much he's willing to pay.
He must assume that I work really REALLY cheap, because for now TWO pistols, he'll pay a whopping 12k. So my best materials for guns that net me 6 k each.
I then procede to wish him well, run to the med center and go /afk.
So perhaps the moral of the story is not to wear the master tag

A good friend taught me how to deal with people like this:

Heh... I would have said, "You can have one now for 6k and the other when you get your head out of yer arse and quit wasting my time. " Then again I always reply to people who ask me for weapons while im traveling to check my vendor. And i send them a waypoint.

I just tell people like it is and dont worry about if they believe me. I tell them what they need to make the weapons and I try to price accordingly but sometimes I am to nice when it comes to pricing.

i was a master doctor for a long time and wore my tag always...until i finally got sick and tired of the arseholes. i learned my lesson i now wear no tag at all

No tag, No helper tag and sometimes I wish I could hide my guild tag

This is why I wear my Master Politican Tag.

It's a shame it's gotta come to the "no-tag" time. It's the ignorant and 12-yr old pre-pubescent pains in the rear end that ruin it. But how can you get your name out to the good customers? It's too bad that at least once a day you get a guy saying "I want the most uber gun on the whole server". In this case it's your 1000 dam Scatter. Well you can have a 220 with some of my best tissues and what do you get for your trouble..."I guess you're not the person I should be talking to". YEAH, I GUESS NOT YOU SON OF BEE STING. WHERE'S YOUR TAG THAT SAYS I'M STUPID....Here's your tag

At this point I new he was either a scammer or begger and proceeded to ignore him.

Now I've been playing this since launch and this would be the second time I was reported, and bothfor some bunk reason like this. The first report was for saying "butt sex".
