100 billion credits!!! nah just puling yer leg. Now days from normal wepons i make about 50k a week. The bulk of my income comes from sale of enghansed wepons. Since my WS toon is also master swords i thend to hunt for my own loot and have larger rpofit margin. Scythes sell like they are goin out of style btw

The average income varies as wildly as you can imagine. In the past I've made as little as 25k a month. (Had a shop in the boonies with no advertising.) Last month I made 8 million. Some smiths make that in a day.

Getting started is all about learning the schematics. Get to know some fellow WS and spend time with them.

As far as what to make all thats going to change on May 5. I advise starting in Melee. It's far easier to get the resources and understand for a beginner.

I was making about 6 million per week buying weapons and reslling them on my sliced vendor. Things will change with the new vendor search option and the raised bazaard prices. Now 90% of my sliced stock can go onto bazaar. I spent about 12 million credits buying what i thought were the best resources. Defintely find a weaponsmith on your server and get a list of the best resources needed.

I think I am an average WS and I only pull down about 250K on the average day. Some days someone will come along and buy a large number of c12 grenades and it will double to 500K. To be honest, I can make more money as a pilot most days than I can as a weaponsmith and I have good resources.

While you're starting out the best way to make money is going to be through a niche in the market such as grenades, as until you have the full 10 experimentation points for Master WS (and comparable resources) you wont be able to compete against the other established WS's - your weapons will always be lower damage and people wont buy them even at a discount.

However established WS's usually dont want the hassle and tied-up factories required to make grenades, and as these also dont require the best resources (2nd best or close will usually do) then the full xxx4 experimentation tree will get you 7 experimentation points which will make decent nades (you will also need at least xx3x in munitions).

Protons and Thermalsare bought by the lorry-load by FS grinders (often 10 crates at a time) so that's an income of 700k to 1 mill per customer (prices etc server dependent obviously). Grenades do require several components though, so be aware that 10 crates will take you 4-5 days to make (or shorter if you use several factories).

That's the best way to make money as you start in WS, the best way to actually learn the craft is the melee weapons tree where mostly you only need to worry about the SR of the resources you will be using - as you get good resources you will get close to the decent weapons other make in this tree. Leave the ranged stuff until last as the resources needed to be good in that tree are very numerous and expensive to accumulate....
