I was going through some of the stuff in my house and I happened to see a clothing attachment with 2+ to weapon experimentation. A friend of mine said it might be valuable, but she's not a weaponsmith so isn't exactly sure, I wanted to ask the experts. How much would this clothing attachment go for honestly? as a rough estimation?

check out the current auctions for exp tapers on flurry. I have seen +1's sell for more than 1mil. A +10 set recently was bought for over 30 mil.

how much would you pay for an 80% kinetic compo armour helmet with a +6 melee defense armour attachment?

For clothing experimentation +23?
I ask this because there is one my trade forum right now. I know the servers are different, but I watched this guy buy it for 20 million last week and thought he was nuts. This weekhe's trying to resell it, why I do not know.
He didn't put a minimum bid so I thought, "Yippee! I'll start low."A lot of Sunrunner tailors seem to be changing professions, so I thought now is my chance...untill he said no less than 10 million!
I haven't sold any wookiee pillows yet, but I don't want to be sewing them until my fingers go numb! ROFL...I'll stick the 11 points I've managed to put together.

Bupkiss. Nada. Big Zero. I'm with NJ. You couldn't give me one of those.
I have +11 exp and assembly now, but even so, when a smith asks me to make wookiee pillows, I strongly discourage him/her by sending them a long and detailed mail about what all ingredients I need but cannot afford, and my luxurious base price per crate with a value added tax I charge due to the time it takes to experiment on them, my irritation endured by having the smith stand over my shoulder telling me what to experiment on, and the crafting bonus foods I had to purchase and must consume to give him/her the base % they want, and that it might be a couple days to even get to it because all my factories are currently making SCs or RFPs... etc.
I can waffle on whether I will make them or not until the smith surrenders and goes to find someone else to make them.I don't say no. I say maybe in so much detail they can't stand it, take pity on me and go torment some other tailor with their request. *works perfectly 100% of the time*
Stupid wookiee pillows. Bah!

I wouldn't pay that either but then I got given most of my tapes
and the only ASI deal with is the guild one so I don't mind that. Plus it helps that they use their rescources and factories
, I thinkI scared the rest off by now lol

I would give 1 cred per point - so 23 credits total.
Then I still wouldn't make any wookie pillows - I am also with NJ on that one!

Sadly, I haven't collected a +20/+20 suit yet. (I have a number of attachments that my buddies have given, but I don't have a count off the top of my head.)
I would like to get one for the novelty factor, like my Tailor crafting apron. I might pay upwards of a million!

One guy on my server had a +12 experimentation tape selling for 12 million. He thought that was low, like half price, because weapon/armour experimentation tapes are at least 2 million per + on them. I explained how useless they are, and talked him down to 1 million for the tape.
For a +23 clothing experimentation tape, I'd say 2 million is the top end for it's true value. The wookie pillows offer almost no benefit for the extra 1 or 2 points in experimentation. You can get a decent 4% stat using 7 or 8 points, and the rest go into encumbrance which is meaningless most often. Wookies have such high stats anyway, and a full suit never gets close to overburdening like composite does.

I would pay absolutely nothing for an experimentation tape. I just wont make pillows. wookiee pillows are a waste of time and resources. I have done wook pillow schematics for armor smiths if they give me the materials. takes a second and I dont charge them. I refuse to waste factory space for it to actually make a few crates.
