that they will ease up on the weaponsmith xp? Holy crap its long and boring. i wish I could get in a "weaponsmith" spin group like combat toons. Don't get me wrong...I love the idea of creating the best weapon I can and then enjoy the feeling of seeing it being sold to someone. I love it. But right now Im just selling DH-18s and some kick ass CDEF Rifles.


Anyone have any pearls of wisdoom? Any clues to speed up the grind? My weaponsmith toon on Bria is without a doubt my least played guy because of this reason. But...I'll get there eventually. Which reminds me....I need to get some harvesting done...Im running out of resources to make anything. But im broke...HAHAHA...this is going to be FUN!!!!!

It's not called a grind for no reason. Grind to master rather than do it slowly. Continuosly craft for a day the same item (Heavy Warhead Mechs) and you should be goood to go.

yeah if you try to slowly work up to it it'll be 30 years before you hit master.


Alot of crafters tend to use 3rd party programs to grind. But even with those it usually takes 3 days or more of non stop 24hr grinding.

3rd party programs are against the ToS. It's actually faster to ATK grind.

I used 12 when doing HWMs, is your mouse set for double click? ie click once = double click?. I used 5 for BLLs tho lol

Man, I need your macro when I start my FS crafting grind. That is if I ever get glowy.

Heh, I even went out and bought a new mouse because my old one got 'accidentally' thrown against the wall and my back-up didn't have te double click feature.


No way I could work (or need to work, rather) a 12 tool macro. I just ain't that fast.


And my BLL macro is just a bastardized version of the HWM, so it's a 10 tool macro as well. Inventory space is the only limiting factor for that macro, though. I max droid xp, load up 5 storage droids, backpack and inventory and head out to the village. Still only get3 max DE xp though before I have to head home and reload.

And actually my macro is pretty good except for one little snafu. Every time I log out, it wants to cut off the last 2 lines.

Ooooooh, i know how to fix it!!


It's too long. You either re-type every time you start the grind, or you make a second macro to include your last tool. I had the same problem for a long time, just got to split the macro up.

I see. Although currently it is set up for a five tools. Although I still think I have a couple of lines per tool that were taken out recently.

PERFECT!


A second marco alows you to not only get rid of typing those lines in every time you want to craft, but to add some more tools to your macro!

It was from old BE grind 1-1/2 years ago. The timers were such that only 5 were needed.

I kind of cheated my way to master weaponsmith. Respecced the majority of it. After I had gotten to the point of being able to do medium warheads.
