Thread: So I am trying to make a Light Bowcaster.......

It won't let me use Advanced Components for this rifle. It used to take them in the slots regardless if they were regular or Advanced.....is this a new bug or now "working as intended"?

working as intended. All weapons that call for non-advanced components cannot take non-advanced components.

As intended. If the weapon takes advanced components, you can use either advanced or regular. If it takes regular components, then you can only use regular. The light bowcasters have such a low cap that advanced components would be wasted in them anyway. As a CL1 rifle, they are in the same league as the CDEF

well that sucks. I was going to make a Krayt light bowcaster...I guess not now.

Why would you waste tissue on a CL1 rifle?! You can cap damage on assembly with good enough resouces.

I won't if there is a low cap. But what does a bowcaster with only a damage of 60 worth? Not much

Unless you want it for immersion, it is worthless. Get to lvl 54 and get an assault bowcaster made, takes 6 tissues though, and you'd be better off with an Advanced Laser Rifle in the long run, only 4 tissues there.

That is what I have, and I use one just for display purposes when I am walking around. But the damage is very low, and it would be a waste to use tissue in it.

Well our caps threads seems to have missed the light bowcaster, it does have the assault (T21) and recon (SG82).
I think I capped my light on assembly and it had 97 max damage.
