I would have to agree. Build components, rifle for low Sac and slice for Damage. With good SEAs and other speed bonuses, you can easly get that speed down. The only way to lower SAC after building the weapon that I know of is to add a power up which lowers accuracy (though I have seen some nice pups).

Hehe thanks Lusaris .

For everybodies benefit the weapon was made with 178-0.53 Krayt Tissue using all post-CU components.

Scope was expirmented with 9 points in Speed (capped)and 3 pointsin accuracy.
ABPH I expirmented until i got -8 SAC then put the rest into speed.
Barrel I think i expirmented until -5 or -8 SAC then the rest into speed.
Stock was expirmented until -20 AC then the rest into speed.
Final Assembly was all damage then the rest speed.

What Lusaris wanted when he ordered the weapon was high damage and less then 100 SAC.

I've been told that the Slicing Damage cap is lower then the crafting cap so I do not see why you say slice the for damage.

Crafting cap is 1184... dmg cap on a slice is 1183... 1 whole point Compare this to carbines and pistols.. rifles get the better deal... to give you some examples:

HC Scatter Pistol

Crafting cap = 948

Slicing Cap = 916

FWG5 Featherweight

Crafting Cap = 967

Slicing Cap = 935

Elite Mark2 Carbine

Crafting Cap = 1063

Slicing Cap = 1046

In my opinion you just ruined some nice tissues cause 91 SAC is too much without SAC pup and slicing for speed when the weapon is40pts below damage cap is just stupid as MRM /MBH

I made an Assault Bowcaster that was 82 SAC and 1135 Damage unsliced. A couple of damage slices would easily max it out.

This is just plain rude!
Regardless of what you think tela'thikin did a great job.He did what his customer wanted AND the customer was so impressed they actually went on the forums and posted about how happy they were.
This is a great job of a weaponsmith doing for the customer.Kudos to you tela',you do us all proud by keeping your customers happy.
Its not about us weaponsmiths its about the customers, how many of yours has posted about stuff you made?

I agree this was a bit harsh and unessecary, but when you post on a profession board you have to be ready for people commenting and discussing the product.

Its is however a very nice accomplishment to make a costumer so happy that he feelslike posting a praise on the boards and that is an accomplishment worth more than crafting the most "uber" weapon

I'm somewhat obsessed about very low SAC weapons so I agree that it would have been better to go min SAC. I think however the remark that the tissues were wasted is somewhat harsh. Its only 9 action points from rock bottom SAC.

I would go a cheap slice, 4% damage , 4% speed

That will max out the damage and increase the speed. Giving you a 377 DPS weapon - thats pretty cool DPS when you consider the majority of the DPS comes from damage.

lol - im obviously a bit slow typing as 2 other people posted on this saying how harsh (and frankly rude) the comment were on the craft. I think you could easily sell this weapon for 10 mil - 20 mil on Corbantis btw.
