Just wondering, am trying to see if I can get away with taking other skills alongside MWS without taking master artisan.

I beleive there are a couple parts that a master artisan needs to make, although aquiring these items is probably going to be a whole lot eaiser than being a master artisan and doing it yourself/

I believe all WS's need from Master Artisan would be Power Conditioners and Control Units. Just sub-out a Master Artisan to make you a few crates of each

Power conditioners go in stun batons. Control units in Tangle pistols (5) and SG82 rifle (1). If you are going to drop MA, just make a couple of schems and some factory runs of those two items. I don't sell many stun batons, but the Tangles and SG82's do sell. Why, I don't know.

The spray stick uses control units as well, not that many people use these. I have been a WS for a about a month and find it easier to have someone make me schem. Now to be a DE without it really can be a pain in the ass.

there's a polearm (Basic Lance?) that uses control modules as well, fyi.

ive also found that i only get 6 experimentation points when tryin to craft WUK's, only way to get the full experimentation is to be master artisan.

funny how my master smuggler/artisan counterpart can craft a WS Schematic (yes hes got novice WS just for that fact) better than i can

How can you only get 6 experimentation points while crafting WUK's? Whats your final percentage after those 6 points? If It's not 99+ then its caused by your resource. 990CD+ is what youre shootin for on resource for WUK's

1. You don't need master artisan. You just need Domestic Arts 4 to get the other 4 experimentation points.

2. I thought quality doesn't matter in WUK?

Even though if you examine a WUK, it has no stats, Smugglers are very picky about them. They want you to make them with high CD material so that their experiment % makes it as close to 100% as possible. Smugglers swear they can tell the difference. I learned the hard way, i made about 19crates of WUK's with the resource I had most of, which only had like 880CD and ended up destroying them all because I didn't put the final % in the title of the WUK to "prove" it was legit.....

So whats to say you cant use 10CD material and name the silly things WUK 99.7%!!!

And just to be clear in case any Smugglers are reading, I just made a huge batch of WUK's using 994CD Polysteel Copper I am an honest person and would never do something like that!
