Thread: Question from a Noob

I looked above and it said something about a thread about what to grind. But I didn't see it. So, my question is, what should I grind to get to Master Weaponsmith?? I have mastered architect and would now like to try to take on weaponsmith. Thanks!!

Sid,


Mask scent covers up your scent, allowing you to sneak past aggressive (red colored on your radar) creatures (not people or non-player chararcters - NPCs). When you do this, you get some experience points, and the creature doesn't attack you. But it's not foolproof, so often it will "break" and you'll be discovered and the critter will attack you. Read my "Guide to Novice Scouting" for more information.


Right now, every vehicle is a single-seater. You can ride in it, but your friends will need to have their own vehicle.

I was wondering what does mask scent do and if i have a land speeder can to people ride in it and can i have guys on my landspeeder? I am a very big noob btw.

hey does anybody know what the best way to go around gaining apprentice points is..or what galaxy has the most noobs on it..i mean on my galaxy there are so many advanced characters its hard to get apprentice points

I hated doing this myself. What i did is i just went to the most populated citieslike Coronet or Theed and just spam away.

Ways to get apprentice points... you could hang around a much populated area and usually, there will be people shouting "Can anybody teach....". There are always people looking for beginner skills who are not newbs. I think most newbs are on Corellia and Tatooine... the main starting planets.


Of course, there is the "other way" to do it... have a friend help you to train and retrain. I like that first way I mentioned better though, hehe.


Ooh, and put a tag under your name. When I have my tags under my name, I get /tells from others asking me to train them.

You can always pay someone to train. On the trade forums there is usually someone selling Ap xp. I have seen 600 points for 200k, maybe lower. This is the expensive way to get the points.

Or you could simply go on a few hunts with a fairly big group. I have never had to spam advertising my skills or had to pay anyone to get app points. Just go hunting and your bound to have a few people to train. I do this and am nearly always at my app xp cap. Please dont go around spamming - especially if your on coronet - you will just end up on peoples ignore list.

You are gonna need them to get through slicing 2 also. Terminals at 100 XP per and every 2 mins. just takes too long.
