Well, I made a mistake tonight, but I just had to know. I was crafting the modified Republic blaster and got a stupid moderate success at a bad time. So I cancelled the crafting session. It counted as one of my uses. So if anyone wants to know- a crit fail on assembly does not count as a use, but if you get beyond that, it does. I hadn't read anywhere that confirmed or denied this. Here you go. My loss, your gain.
