Can anyone tell me for sure if weapon condition effects the stats of your weapon? I've heard some people say it does, while others say it does not. Some people say that it doesn't until the condition reaches half of the max condition. I really don't know. It seems to me that if the stats were effected by the condition, there would be some indicator when you examine the weapon that the stats are being decreased. I can't seem to find a straight answer on this question.

I have a really nicecarbine, the condition of which is in the 600's out of a 967 max. It is irreplaceable as it averages 100 base damage per second. So I want to know if the condition will effect the stats, thus helping me decide when I should roll the dice on getting it repaired.

Does anyone know how condition effects weapons for sure? Does anyone have a definite answer? I would really appreciate it if someone knew for sure.

For definate, condition does affect the weapons stats.

The exact point at which your stats start to decrease isn't known for certain.

At some point between 100 and 200, for certain. At least on the 2 weapons I stupidly let get that low, this is the case. These weapons lost stats at some point below 200 condition. This was, of course, before I became a weaponsmith.
