hi, I'm a non Weaponsmith, and I'm not too sure what to do with these Geo Sword Cores I looted;

4 pieces

dam: 26-51

speed: -1.124

wound: 16%

ideal: 24

ham: 7/6/8

obviously the speed is impressive. The question is though...Scythe Schemes on my server cost about 1mil, but speed sliced scythes dont sell for much.

Do you think these look nice, but in reality are a bit of a waste?

many thanks, sorry to invade your board.

Would be very nice if you could ensure a damage slice cause they are good for a nonspeed capped swordsman.

Well, for me, I'd use them if I had 6 because the Dmg and speed on them are both good. However you only have 4, which means to get 2 you would have to use a full scyth schm. But, even with that being true, they are still better than your typical loot cores.

I agree - with 6 I would say go for it, as you can make 2 with a single use of the schm, but if you use two uses on the schm and only get 2 scythes I can't see a profit.....

If you don't want to feed a Scythe or Hack schematic to these, you might consider cleavers. Normaly they're unpopular for their slow speed, but these might make something useful of it.

The only other thing to do, is to makesomehigh speed1 or 2h curved swords. A master Swordsman would think they were a cute novelty, but a power grinder might think they were just the ticket.

thanks peeps, it's great to get the odd insight into the dark and esoteric art of weaponsmithing...

I dont have THAT many schematics, so I"m just going to hold onto them for now (and go for the 7 yellow/7 Ads). Maybe one day I'll have a spare schem, and I'll give it a go. Still...the damage slice with this speed would be nice.

again, cheers!

speed: 2.0

damage: 174-329 (203-384 after damage slice)

wounds: 30.7%

range: -8/+16/-8

ham: 48/72/42
