im pretty sure they will havea serial after the server resets.

Did you loot it in the electrified box behind the Fire Spider? There is usually one there and it has no serial or modifier on it. I have about 3 and they stay that way day after day. I think they are just ment to be a "relic" just like small balls or rations.

yes i did loot it from the spider lair. server reset and no number.

It won't get a serial either. But don't worry, it's just a single and doesn't have any stats anyways.
