Well I can do that all day long (only if you are really slow, but it only takes most of us a minute to do a search), but it doesnt mean it's possible to find, much less purchase that resource. I'm just wondering if what I have right now should actually be used, or if I should go find better. Huh? You say you don't want to do a search because you don't know if you'll be able to find the resource, then you say you don't know if you should use the one you have or go find something better? For all you know you may have the best ever Neutronium on your server. One of us is not making sense here and I'm certain it's not me. Umm...I'm trying to give you the tools to identify what you have and how it compares to what's out there. Don't be a noob, go do the search, see what you have, see what's better and make your decision. The site also will tell you when the resource spawned but I'm done offering advice to someone who seems unable to benefit from it. I've given you the tools now go figure it out.

One small correction, since the resource you are searching only uses one stat, instead of the rating column, which figures out the 50/50 66/33's etc, use the SR column, click on the bottom arrow when you get the search results. Now you have a list of every Neutronium that's been recorded on the site for your server. If this doesn't help you nothing will.

My Carbonite Steel is 962

My Phrik alum is 886

My Neutronium is 641 (I'm thinking I should find better neut)

Sorry if I sounded a bit newbish there, but I wasnt implying that doing the search is worthless... I did the search, I know where my resources stack up, but I want to know, if you're going to make scythes professionally, are those comperable to what you would be using? I want to make the finest product out there, but if what I'm using is only marginally good, I want to fix the situation before it becomes a problem. Sorry about that o.-

I wouldn't make a core with anything less than close to server best neutronium. Find a ws and ask him if he would sell 250 units or so, ask nicely and pay nicely and you'll probably get some.

agreed. Scythes sell for enough credits that people demand the best stuff. If you were to get 1K of each of the resources needed, it would make several scythes, and most WS would be willing to part with that much of their stock if your are willing to pay.

When crafting high end weapons, only use the top 2 or 3 resources on server... cause that's what your competition is doing.

Good name for a video game, am I right?

No, but seriously... I'm about to venture into the wild world of making scythes. I am just wondering, what kind of resources minimum I should use. I have *no* idea what the different resources are capped at (man would I love a list), except the SR on desh copper and corellian deciduous wood o.- Any help, I would love.

Thanks,

Go to swgcraft and use the "find resources" function for your server to identify the best resources for whatever you are building. Make sure your profile is set for your server and then plug in the resource type and relevant % you are looking for, in this case 100% SR for phrik alum and carbonite steel. The results won't be sorted so go to the "rating" column at click on the bottom arrow. Now you have a list of the phriks/carbonites that have spawned on your server and you can see how they rate compared to one another. Now you know what to look for.

Hmm.. I have spare makings for sword cores laying around (yellow cubes, etc). What kind of stats should I be looking at on my cores if I was to make the best possible on your server... I dont care which, I'm just looking for ballpark figures of what I should be seeing.
