Anybody know if there is an NPC with an elevated drop rate? Theyseem to be very rare, and very nice. The only ones i have got have come from Canyon Corsairs, but then, I am based on Lok.

The only advanced rifle barrels I have ever seen are the advanced projectile rifle barrels that you get from one of the themeparks (imp, I think). Other than that, I have seen a few exceptional barrels that had awesome stats, but those are really rare so you can't count on finding those. Are the barrels you have seen blaster or projectile barrels, and what are the stats?

I've never seen advanced weapon components drop as loot in game. I've only seen the standard, non-adv, components drop....mostly from Tuskens and random planet specific NPC's (Nym's on Lok etc.)...also a good place to try is the 2 faction bases on Talus (depending on what faction you are, for Imp's there are 2 places you can kill rebels, they seem to drop them every now and then)

Ive looted some nice Blaster Rifle Barrels off of Nightsisters. They had 18 max I believe it was.
