Thread: Question concerning Formfitting Stocks, Rifle Barrels, and Tissues

Keep in mind this is from someone who has never crafted ever before.
I plan on crafting a nice Krayt LLC, Krayt Laser Carbine, Krayt DXR-6b, and Krayt T21.
Now I have the tissues for all of these already, but I'm wondering if I should even bother to try to acquire Formfitting Stocks and/or Blaster Rifle Barrels. Do they give enough of a boost to damage that they are worth the extra work to get them? or are they just a preference for those who want custom weapons?
Keep in mind all of these will be ADK'd, so condition has no influence.

ff stocks has lower damage than normal (advanced) stocks, but a lot better speed and less ham

a) hold onto this stuff till post CU
OR
b) only use FF Stock on the LLC.. for everything else the damage from advanced stocks are better than the lower speed on the FF (in the current system)

Form fitted stocks are a definte plus. Highly recemended that you use them where you can.
as far as blaster rifle barrels go use the best you can. there are no theme park blaster RIFLE barrels (that i know of at least) but there are projectile pistol and rifle and blaster pistol ones.
With the exception of the imp scope, almost all theme park RANGED ws parts are really nice. The scopes too are nice, but hey.. they're scopes...big whoop.

I'd have to disagree with you on the stock part. This day in age (or atleast on my server) everyone and their mom is speedcapped... everyone wants damage damage damage and could care less about the speed

+20-30more min/max damage (adv stock)
or -.6 speed (ff stock)
oh, and what are the stats on the imp scope? never seen one myself.

Yeah but there is not only speed cost but ham cost as well. I would FF stock the LLC only in this case.

Yeah but there is not only speed cost but ham cost as well. I would FF stock the LLC only in this case.
which might be nice post-cu... but with buffs who cares?
(I know I have some rifleman who like to have lower ham on their rifles, but only with extra exp points after the max possible damage has been reached)
