This is good, the current state of affairs is unacceptable. Krayt tissues should be rare, at the moment i don't sell any non enhanced weapons hardly, its pathetic the way people can kill krayts as if they are childs play. Also as all the weapons are being changed damage wise etc, i feel that people will again buy non enhanced weapons.

After dabbling on TC5 tonight for awhile, I don't think I'll be seeing base krayt tissue for 6k per after the CURB 
Was just getting used to it too...

Well i for one, dont like the current state of weapons, the only weapons that sell atm are above base loot made ones with damage slices. I want to be a weapon makers, not a person who buys your loot crafts weapons with it and have to take a potential loss by having it sliced before you even consider buying it back.
The norm should be a regular non enhanced weapon, not sliced. Not a 30% + damage sliced enhanced weapon

I've actually had people tell me: "That's base tissue made? nvm... " -_-
only stuff that sells is high damage loot made stuff, and nades...

Then again if the damage scales I've seen on TC5 frogs are accurate, and considering frog weapons generally are junk, what's +30 to a T21 that does like 1200 max damage anyway?

About the +30 on a 1200 T21, they prolly have scaled loot up so it'll be +90, 1200 = about 3 times what the T21 is now, so it follows that the tissue will prolly be scaled up by the same factor.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If tissues remained at +30 base, the only real reason to go after krayts would be to get pearls, and I'd hope they wouldn't make it that way.
At this point who knows though. Hopefully someone (or some group of 100
) on TC5 will eventually kill a dragon and loot some tissues so we can see.

I honestly dunno what the fuzz is about. Not flaming or anything, but I still sell lots of non enhanced weapons. Granted, it doesn't take long to master profs, but there are still a lot of people out there, who don't even know what a Krayt looks like, let alone what dmg mods do to weapons. Or acklay... or Nym's motors.. etc. etc. I seel VKs by the truckload, and quite a few non enhanced laser rifles, some pikes and T21s, along with Curved swords of both kinds...
I can see where you are coming from, on my server it just never became that much of a problem...

don't expect to sell vk's by the truckload anymore, as it stands unless you have the weapon cert, no equipie for you...

It is fun to have more krayts, the problem before when krayt hunting was to find any not kill them. However the abundance of loot have made ws less fun for me.
a) Normal weapon is a lot harder to sell, everyone want enhanced.
b) To much time spend to hand craft. I don't mind hand crafting actually, I like it pretty much with SW, but I really hate having to do factory runs for krayt enhanced handlers. To much runnign aroudn stocking factories, wait for them to finish etcx
c) It devaluates the work of the real good crafter. A bad crafter (ie really someone with inferior resources) can hide bad stats by using loot enhancements. Where you relaly see who is a good crafter is when you look at normal unsliced weapons. That 2 pt higher max damage says a lto more of how good a ws is than looking at guns made with uber tissues. The first is a result of a long time searching for good resources, the later your luck looting or buying some nice tissues

They should make an additional slot to weapon schematics to put loot enhancements in them like some grenades with Acklay Venom.
So the Tissues wouldn't be needed to go into the Power Handlers which would save some tissues and time. Although the amount of Tissues should be the same as the amount of power handlers needed.
