I dropped Shipwright for weaponsmith because i was getting bored with makign the same stuff and annoyed at the HUGE amount of resources it took up.

But i just cant seem to get to grips with WS and cant seem to make "decent" stuff.

I have good resources and have tried makign a couple of items. I know that melee weapons need high SR and ranged need high OQ and CD.

I made some cryo lances and the best i managed was:

speed 2.56

elemental damage: 39

damage 147-501

SAC: 114

501 damage?1 This was madde with all resources bein at least 870 or higher. surely i should be able to get better stats than that.

Any ideas on what i am doign wrong? I have master artisan and master WS, i have a "Weaponsmiths Toolkit" bandolier with +5 to assembly and +3 to experimentation.

Well the Cryo Lance is only a CL 30 weapon so the damage wont be very high. I cant remember the stats of mine at the top of my head, but I dont think 501 is way off. If I remember Ill check when I get ingame and report back here if noone beats me to it

501 is about right.

The SAC is a little high, but is sounds like you only have 10pts.... the extra 2pts you can get from attachments will help you bring that down.

Feel free to post stats of some of you other weapons, we love to critique stuff
