Hi fellow Weaponsmiths 
My name is Ruk and I am a firearms WS on Valcyn
Ive recently started making these barrels for tusken rifles and Ive noticed something... The data schematic suggests that the important qualities are Shock Resistance and Heat Resitance yet when using good materials for these stats (over 900s in both) I get disappointing results (5-10 percent exp effeciency on great and amazing success instead of 20-26 im used to with other things) Is it just supposed to be harder to make these well or is there a bug here?

i hate to bump my own post but id realy like an answer to this question/issue if anyone has one 
It just doesnt make sense to me

They seem to be bugged, also the projectile pistol barrel and feed mechanism have the same problem.

Funny.... I had no trouble with projectile feed mechanisms. They just require toughness instead. Used icofa (1000 toughness) and got 26% on a great sucess (if I recall, it's been awhile since I've made my bowcaster).

Just made projectile pistol barrel using an iron and steel that both have ~950 heat/shock/toughness, and it had 10%.

Hmmm. I'll have to make another projectile feed mechanism when I get back to my house....

Advanced feed mechs seem fine, only problem I have is with the Barrel, this is i believe being addressed in the patch.

Are these worth anything I loot them off of almost everything I hunt and I have tons of them

Nope all differnt but all like -0,36 speed and plus 6 or 7 min and max damage stuff like that
