Thread: im sorry if this is a noob question
Well there is the faq to read. But let me explain it since i'm in a good mood.
When you master weaponsmith you have +100 Weapon assembly and +100 Weapon experimentation.
For every 10 points you have you get 1 point to use to experiment on the gun(raise dmg/acc/wound or lower speed/sac.) So at a master weaponsmith you have 100 / 10 = 10 points to use during crafting.
Now people can loot clothing attachments with the weapon experimentation mod on it. So if you get a +10 take you go up to 110 / 10 = 11 points to use if you go up to 120(with one OR multiple tapes) you will have 12 points and you are therefor a 12point smith.

lol only kidding, basically at Master Weaponsmith you get 10 point of experimentation to use, with attachments you can up that to 11 or 12 points - which allows you to produce better weapons as you have more points to play around with.
