anybody know of a good source to find looted stocks what npc's drop these?

I would also like to know, I'm going MWS for the holo grind and before I drop that profession I'd like to make 10-20 Rifles of every kind from Lowly DL20's to the T21.

I am very sorry i tried to read the stickies but had no luck and the other thread in this forum on stocks didnt really answer my question at all but here is the way i understand it

crafted stocks affect speed and sac looted stocks affect speed and dmg?

i may be all screwed up but could someone please share the cap on both looted and crafted stocks?

Crafted stocks will range from 0.0 speed & -12 SAC to 1.1x speed & -25 SAC depending on how the smith crafts them.

As for the cap's on looted stocks, only the dev's know that. Most seem to be around the 20's for damage. These really aren't very usefull due to the lack of a SAC modifier, putting one on a carbine or rifle would result in a SAC around 100, which is an action killer for any master level player. If you just plan on using rangedshot, or a similar low level attack, then they're a viable option (i.e. Jedi).

I have seen a set of looted stocks that are this

29 min

29 max

-.79 speed

There may be 30's out there but I have not seen them. the above is the best I have come across

My crafted stocked are

1.225 speed and 25 sac
