Howdy folks. I wanted to let you know that I've tendered my resignation as Weaponsmith Correspondent, effective as soon as Tiggs can find a replacement. I could come up with some long-winded explanation for you, but you likely don't have the time to read it, and I don't have the time to write it anyway. The bottom line is that you need someone representing you who has both the time and the desire to remain here and make Galaxies a better game. In recent weeks, I've found both of those things lacking, and it's not fair for me to continue in this position when I can't really fulfill my obligations.

I will say this: thanks for being a great community to represent. We get a lot of smacktards in this forum ("WTB ub3r l337 kryat T21z0rz on Flurry!!11one!!") and I think the majority of you handle them quite well. Additionally, there is a great deal of helpfulness here; weaponsmiths reaching across server boundaries to help each other, help the newcomers, and push the limits of what can be achieved. You are all hallmarks of excellence, and for that, I thank you.

I'm sure Tiggs will have a post up before long asking for applications. I would encourage anyone who feels they have something to contribute to the betterment of Galaxies to apply, with one caveat: don't expect to change the world. Your priorities and the developers' priorities may not always match up, so don't get frustrated. Stick with it and provide constructive feedback and you'll accomplish more than a thousand rants ever could.

Rest assured that I will continue to present your feedback and concerns on the Combat Upgrade to the development team until a replacement is chosen.

Thanks to everyone for your support. It's been a blast. Good luck to all of you and whomever is chosen as the next Correspondent. =) I'll still be around for you to hassle on occasion.
