wouldn't that be cool if weaponsmiths could change the color of lasers on weapons? Pink t21 power!

That too, but Im talking about ranged weapons colors.
Red is energy and green is kinetic. Or the opposite, I cant remember.

Red is energy, gray is kinetic, green is acid, blue is cold, yellow is electric, orange-ish is heat.
Same applies for melee weapons, the color of the "air swoosh" as I call it, when you do a special attack, is determined by the damage type.
Unless the weapon has a special laser type, like the Geonosian or the Launcher Pistol.

I do remember something said about customizing the blast and sound of a gun. Wasn't that mentioned with the loot revamp?
