We could really use a correspondent, with all the post CU issues that arestill unresolved. It has been more than two weeks since the post was made by Thunderheart. It would be nice to have someone... anyone... give our profession a voice in the correspondent's forum.

How goes the search? Did no one want the job? Could we have a correspodent please? Pretty please with sugar on it?

I don't think its a lack of applicants. I think these guys just have their minds set on other things.

Well if you have your mind on other things, don't invite applications.

I don't think that's the case and I'm sure they have a timescale in place... just we don't know what it is

We just need to have patience. I know it is hard with all that is going on. They will pick someone eventually.

Yeah well Im actually beginning to consider applying myself as it seems noone is interested in the position. Or perhaps the devs are to busy with the CU + ROTW aftermatch
Its pretty important to get a correspondent soon as we have so many issues that needs to be presented to the devs.

  1. Pre CU Stocks adding to damage

  2. Quest rewards weapons are finished versions instead of lootschematics (thus destroyig parst of the WS marked)

  3. DE-10, Scythe, Executioners hacks and other expensive weapons being void

That is just some of my biggest issues atm and Im sure the WS community would be able to add to them

Id very much like us to compile a list of the greates issues post CU perhaps we should just stat one and then let the Correspondent take over from there when he/she is choosen? Think Im gonna start a thread with assigned to that

While this is possible, I do think that it is somewhat due to a lack of applicants (or a matter of qualified applicants not passing their account check process, whatever that entails). I saw some very qualified people post earlier stating that they hadn't applied because they weren't sure they were going to stick with the profession or the game.

I'll say the same thing I said in my resignation post: If you think you have something to contribute to the future of the WS profession, then please apply. But go into the situation with your eyes open, realizing that you are not going to be able to make things happen. It is possible that what's broken today will still be broken when your term as Correspondent (6 months) is up. I would hope that not to be the case, but my experience with the game has shown that it happens.

And this is why SeaRaptor has been a vauled existence within the SWG/WS community.

I have thought about applying for the position although the lack of effort to fix what's broken before breaking something else while the CSRs and DEVs discredit the communites pleas for help and information relating to matters that effect game play have created a bad taste in my mouth and removed all intrest of being their red headed step child.

If the game had a better presence of communication with the CSRs, DEVs and their true investors I would jump on the option to take over this posistion. (* yes, each player should be revered as an investor of sorts when relating to monthly fees paid for subscriptions. We ALL have the ability to make or break the game and enough attention has not been placed to ensure a working environment known as Star Wars Galaxies: Empire Divided.)

Lastly, forcing the game into a reverted form of a BetaTest was the worst thing that could have been doneto this game.
