There was post on TK forums that it is possible to use high quality components (krayt,motors) in making of blaster fists. I think a lot of people on TK forums are very interested if blaster fists or some other crafted TK weapon can be made comperable to the stuff looted on Kash (Nightblade,Katarn). If you could post your best crafted TK weapon, or point out why a good weapon can not be made it would be much appreciated.

Around 650 max damage 220DPS with 65 SAC is the best of the best give or take 10-20damage. This is using over 100dmg tissues with a good 25+ damage vibro motor.

In conclusion, although the SAC is nice anyone planning on mastering TK can just pick up the Katarn from the quest, vendor search or trade forum and have over 300DPS and with as low as a -2 accuracy power the Katarns up to get the same 65 SAC.

4 Tissues over 100dmg + vibro motor + frustration if you dont even make it as good as the one listed above = More credits than they would spend on the Katarn

You'd think they'd let something that can use all kind of enchancements have better cap values. I'm having somebody I know take a stab at a blaster fist with 78 dmg -.50 speed tissues and +28 dmg nym motor just as a test, but needless to say I'm still planning on buying a loot weapon.

Out of curiousity, has anybody found schem + crafted a black sun razor knuckler yet? I'm wondering what stats would be like on those if they even exist.

Ok, I think you were talking about my post last week. I had commented on how I do goofy thing like wasting 120 damage krayt tissues in a blaster fist. And a 28 damage nym's motor.

Blaster Fist

With those loot components, it took me 3 exp points to max damage, 7 to max SAC, and since I figured this will get a speed slice, I put the last 2 points into elemental. I have almost all top of the line resources, and my initial assembly came out at 28%, only 11 point assembly for me.

That's not too bad, but it doesn't really compare to the Quest and Loot weapons from Kash. Currently I'm using a non-enhanced blaster fist, but only when I'm running low on action. Otherwise I'm just going bare handed because it does more damage. Definately not worth wasting my 95 and 98 damage tissues on.

Oh well, I am a smuggler afterall, so I might have a renegade pistol made with them if that's possible lol.

Yeah, those wooks make better weapons than I can. Couple that with ADK's and I'm in an almost dead profession.
