Thread: My WS spreadsheet for factory runs

I thought someone might find this useful....
What format is this in? Nether Open Office or Excel 2003 will read it.
I just opened it in Excel 2003 (ver. 11.5612.5606) with no problem what-so-ever.....all I can say is:
WOW.
AMAZING.
FANTASTIC.
No WS should be without this.
The Excel sheet is compressed in the ".ace" format. WinAce is free, and beats the crap out of .zip files. DL WinAce ad you'll be good to go.
I am glad some are liking this. I only make standard weapons, in small quantities, in a factory. So this was an attempt to streamline pulling together the resources. The original version would add in the resources and components needed for all needed schematics as well, but I took that out at the last minute, as I think it made things too complicated in a way. The idea though was to be able to drop a bunch of resources into an input hopper, then start form the beginning and be able to make schematics for every single step of the process with only the resources in the Input hopper, and in the end, the Input Hopper would be empty, and the Output would have the desired number of weapons.
It got too hard to remmeber what metal was used in what spot, and then how some components needed UT, while the weapon needed SR (which may mean 2 different resources of the same class..... blah blah.
Anyway, this is easier. It tells you how many components you need, including the ones needed for the final schematic. Maybe someday if I get adventerous I will connect the resource page with the rest of it so it will estimate the quality of the part. But frankly, thinking about that level of math makes my head hurt!
