yep. bowcastersonly dobetter damageuntilthe laser rifle... which you get at rifles 2. plus the bowcaster has no armor piercing meaning that it's useless for even the lower end midlevel mobs. one benifit of bowcasters is lower ham costs but the lack of AP kills it's viablility as an effective weapon.

something i would like to see is a bowcaster se, give it 50-60 more damage and AP2. figure 340-350 unsliced damage wouldn't make it the most powerful weapon in the game but as long as the min damage isn't under 140 it would be a viable alternative to the laser rifle for wookiees. the catch is give the cert at rifes 4 or even novice rifleman.

to me that would be a good 'expirenced' wookiee's bowcaster. i wouldn't see this as a weapon that would make people complain since they aren't a wookiee so they can't use it and it will give a little compensation for all the skill modded clothes wookiee's can't use (BE and themeparkrewardclothes, not looted). the bowcaster is the wookiee's native weapon, it should be fairly competent.... at least some version of it.

I'm looking for any Master Weaponsmiths(or close!) that can craft Bowcasters. All these Wookies and none of them use their native weapon. Tsk Tsk. Anyway, leave an in-game name and I'll get back to ya.
