I'm looking to buy an FWG5 with a visible scope and can't seem to find any. Is this issue fixed yet or am I searching in vain? Someone on the smuggler forum said they bought one recently.

You'll have to ask your regular weaponsmith for one - they have to be hand made for the scope to show.

Does it show for everyone or is it just the owner who can see it?

Either way its a silly bug.

Just the owner. However you'd be surprised at the number of people who like to stare at themselves in combat from third person going "Hot damn, I am one good looking zabrak/human/rodian/trandoshian/wookiee/mon cal with this gun."

Yup I have quite a few customers that enjoy a healthy 'Stock' Fetish... And they don't hesistate about cost, speed, and ham...

Also on some weapons like the Featherweight FWG5and Modified RB the scope doesn't appear even if handmade...

I don't think normal republics ever showed any optional parts to begin with ? Frankly if it did it would look plenty silly, IMO.
