My sales have been going up every week since I moved to south coronet.
I was on Talus for 6 months and I would sell 1-8 weapons per day, mostly to guildmates at that.
Now that I`m south of coronet, I`m doing alot more business and its very steady.
You might want to move to a higher traffic area, depending on how busy you want to be.

i have two accounts, one is pure combat and the other is pure crafting (except the requirements for smuggler). i go through weapons pretty fast, ranged weapons last for a while but my vk's need to be replaced/repaired every couple days. the melee weapons take damage fast enough imo but ranged weapons should degrade a bit faster.
on the other hand, a krayt T21 (like the one posted on this forum, awsome rifle) or any other such weapon would be too valuable to even consider using with a faster degrade rate. weaponsmiths will sell more weapons but i don't think we would make more since more people will be hesitant to buy high end weapons.

agreed. decay rate that permanently gets rid of a weapon, is actually kind of silly when you think about it. There should be a special restoration kit that just replaces the internal components without scrapping the weapon itself, and without changing the dmg/speed. Of course, these internal component kits could sell profitably.
I tend to buy 1 or 2 of each major weapon, and one for "not every day use" and one or two for "grinding meat and loot" use... I dont possibly see how it could be better than that; i own 10 weapons which eventually get disposed of. I could easily grind through an entire weapon in 1 to 2 weeks if I used that weapon exclusively. IMO thats too much decay for any weapon that I would seriously want to keep, and it is shameful having to burn through a perfectly fine weapon. And the weapons you are willing to spend 5 mill + on, should ideally never decay.
