Hello Weaponsmiths 
Some of you old school Weaponsmiths may remember my name. Well, at least the name D'tox built. I have been playing as D'Tox for quite some time now (Since October of last year). My goal was to get into the sandbox and some felt that I attempted to do it by riding on the coattails of the D'Tox name. Please understand this was not my intention.
The original D'Tox was a guildmate of mine in the guild that I formed on Naritus. I created a very powerful (at the time) Rebel guild and PvP'd nightly etc etc. One day D'Tox approached me and asked about the possibility of coming to RAID. He was an Imperial at the time with the most predominent Imperial Guild on Naritus. One thing led to another and RAID eventually had the two premiere Weaponsmiths on the server. We were extremely pleased.
As time progressed, D'tox grew weary in the game. Eventually left after weeks of absence and/or little online time. One day he told me that he was leaving the game and wanted to possibly come back, but for now he was kaput! He did ask if D'Tox could remain in the guild he loved and if possible, could be taken over by a member of the Senior Staff (no money was exchanged for his account...he simply wanted to keep D'tox in the guild etc.)
Now I always wanted to be a Weaponsmith, however I had quite a successful Armorsmithing business as my alt, while my main was stuck in the hologrind. After some time I had reached the pinnacle of Armorsmithing..had a ton of credits, knew the craft, completed the second piece of RIS on Naritus and I believe the fifth person to do so in all of SWG. (/pats self on back)
Now to develop D'tox into the best all around Weaponsmith. some of you may know that D'Tox was an OUTSTANDING melee Weaponsmith on Naritus. He really got into the science of Smithing. Review his first page posts and you will see that he really was behind the science of Smithing. He had all the best resources and was never afraid to try and develop the oddest weapons in attempts to determine stats..DPS..HAM reductions etc.
While I played D'Tox I amassed quite the resource cache and developed weapons that would rival most Weaponsmiths on Naritus as well. I lurked for many months on the Weaponsmith forums until I was answering most questions posed in my head. Then I started posting. I received a few PMs from some Weaponsmiths that knew D'Tox from back then. Not knowing what to do I replied that I have been playing my Jedi. True to an extent...but alas a lie in the end. For this I sincerely apologize to Logix and SeaRaptor (the ones that PMd me).
I also saw an opportunity to help out the community by being in the sandbox. I was thrilled when Logix informed me via a PM that I was in. Eventually the truth to my 'posing' as the original D'Tox was made known and I was told that the offer had been rescinded. This is cool. It is best to give D'Tox spot to those that have been a Weaponsmith the entire time. I hope that you will only test everything out in the manner that I intended to .
. Well how time has changed. You have no idea how thrilled I was to receive the following email today:

Erdeid informed me of the deal with the Sandbox. I
went and saw your forum post on it. Bad deal, I'm
really sorry that happened. When Erdeid first told me
about it, I had considered hooking my account back up
and making a comeback, but I figured I shouldn't have
taken that privelege away from you. After all, you've
probably been playing D'Tox now longer than I have.
In any case, I have been considering rejoinning the
game and getting ready for Jump to Lightspeed. Would
you mind terribly if I took over D'Tox again?

Of course my reply was COME BACK HERE!! Now I simply tell you this so the next time you see D'tox posting on this forum, it will be as himself. I will only reply in this thread. I will continue to lurk the forums here and post my two bits, but as my main character.
You all have showed me the way of Weaponsmithing and gave me a delight each time I used your information to make a weapon or experiment.

while i will surely say d'tox and silva were great weaponsmiths, i dont know if u could call them "the two premiere weaponsmiths on the server". at that time period, i knew what resources every weaponsmith had by the products they put out, and while they were 2 very good weaponsmiths, they were not the "two premiere weaponsmiths" on our server.
while this is not to take anything away from the purpose of this post, which i think the community appreciates, i think theres just a few naritus smiths that would argue who the "premiere" smiths on the server were. just my 2 cents.

True Zina...very true. Actually the words should have read,a couple of themost premiere WS at the time. Again, as always..thanks for your posts 
I'll see you in a few weeks in Fantasy Football when we lock horns. First place for now...This week I get to take on Zara...He's going down...

imo, the best ws naritus had was borman. his prices and quality could not be beaten, but noone knew who he was lol. i find it better to not say anything than to become famous as a crafter, saves a lot of headaches

there were certainly a few on Naritus back in the day. Remember Blackin..I still have a pre-nerf T21 from him...

Heh, well in all honesty, I had only ever conversed with D'Tox (you, I assume) from late last fall and this year. I wouldn't have known the difference, I don't think. =)

No harm done. I previously only knew D'Tox by reputation only, and I'm glad that his legacy has lived on (even if not via the original player).
Will be cool to have the "real thing" back, though I'd say you'd done an outstanding job by him while he was away.
