If you can get an exceptional or legendary blaster rifle barrel for it then cool. Otherwise, just stick to a crafted barrel. Advanced if you want accuracy. Non advanced if you are looking for pure speed. The damage difference between thetwo is negligible for something like a flamer.

Resources. Don't bother. The WS should have better resources than you can pull unless a server best spawn is currently in and he isn't already mining it.

Other than the krayt tissues, the best item to get is the form fitted stocks from the Imp theme park. They won't add as much damage as an advanced stock, but they do trim .5 seconds off of the speed of an unstocked flamer.

Get me a FFS and a Legendary/exceptional blaster rifle barrel aand in fact... a spawn of either Quadalcej or Duragoraium liquid petro and you'll have a flamer to be proud of... oh and how you liking your HAR?

Havent picked up yet . If i get the stuff, I am coming to ya, just want to know what to look for while i am out and about . Okies on the petro, come to think of it, might have an extra resource kit laying around nowadays .

LOL, dont waste a resource kit on it. Its a fairly recent spawn, one that im pissed off I didnt get on only 2 months old

Like the others have suggested with the Barrel. Also adding the Form-Fitting Stock from the Imp Theme Park will also give you an increase in damage and a decrease in speed.

I have a Flamer on the Test Center that is close to 900 max damage and 2.9 attack speed.

Actually a Form Fitting Stock will give you less damage than a standard Advanced Weapon Stock.. but the FF Stock gives you better speed and much lower HAM

My current standard Flamers are 899 max @ 4.8 Add to that a nice set of 100+ damage tissues and you're looking at over 1000 damage pre-slice. An exceptional rifle barrel would be the icing on the cake.

Your right that a 40/40 stock is better than and FFS for damage but far and away I would take no stock over a 40/40. At least at the moment. 40 damage increase is nothing compared to a 0.3 speed decrease. Speed > damage for flamers in general. FF is 0.779 speed faster than a 40/40 stock (using my current stocks) while 10 less max. Speed > damage!!

One of the last ones I sold on tempest was 494-945/2.9 with +16range mods. Got 3 mil for it.

Its sister, which was sold in auction, was same damage but only 3.0 speed(dang moderate successes.) It went for a 5 mil buyout.

Currently have 2 that have higher damage and are 3.0s that are going for 2 mil each right now.
