Thread: Things we all need.

There has been a lot of ranting about nerfing crafting and rightly so. However its more constructive if crafters make a list of things we NEED.
The assembly changes are definatly taking something away from our profession. No doubt about that. Maybe we can see something more being added eventually? The changes coming in the CURB are new things for us to learn but from what Ive read there is nothing coming that can make individual crafters unique or stand out.
Two of the things I would like to see most of all are
1) Customisation options, Currently even when handcrafted most of our weapons dont show any of the custom styles used. I would like to see us having more control over how the end result looks on EVERY weapon. This way it gives a smith a sense of individuality and the option to play with how something looks as well as how well it works.
2) A system inplace that requires skill. Something in my head at moment is when i did the phase2 (I think it was phase 2..was a while back) village quest for crafting. After creating a component it had to be "tuned". Ok ok it was called Tuning but I cant remember the term used either 
Basically the crafter had to complete a very simple puzzle which was different to each component, requiring the crafter to work out HOW to tune it. would be nice if a crafter had to work out exactly to make the weapon work, maybe a pre-experimentation puzzle? This way it just adds a small bit of more skill to the profession.

That was phase 1 ye be talking about, phase 2 and 3 were the grinding out FS resources
Phase 4 was get the remote thing.

Yes that quest was very interesting, trying to figureout the wire combos and tuning the component.
not sure if I'd want to do it on every weapon made though.
