All the patches lately seem to be kicking the $#!+ out of the longtime crafter's endgame:
Tonnes of krayt tissues = flood of krayt weapons
ADK general decrease in sales (if any of you haven't noticed it yet, you aren't looking hard enough)
and now assembly bonus has been reduced to a very marginal value
Is experimentation next?
I don't know what the motivation is on the developers part, I can only assume they have been playing WoW like everyone else.
Well I don't like WoW, I like SWG, thats why I'm still here;
As the crafters endgame is slowly erroded(apparently without anyone noticing) as weaponsmiths become an assemblyfunction in the gamerather thanplayers, I wonder how much longer I'llremain aweaponsmith.
The only thing I'm waiting for now is the CU, and if thats anything like JTLS we are all in big trouble.

I know what you mean. Considering how this change came out of the blue, with no fore-warning what-so-ever, it seems I could wake up tomorrow to find out the crafting system has been replaced with a plug-and-punch system like WoW's (and most other MMORPGs).

I just dont get why they dont ask the community if they want a change like this before throwing it in. Seems theyvebeen sneaking a lot of changes in lately...

This is rather sad. This goes along with "Increased the amount of resources spawned, so that rare resources will be slightly more common" to make me wonder about things. Pretty soon the only thing that will matter is how many points you have, because everyone will have all the resources and little tricks like food and how many points at a time won't matter since you're getting all amazings anyway.
I can understand that failing on assembly is annoying, but knowing how to avoid that is part of the game. It's part of what makes us weaponsmiths instead of weapon assemblers. If they just push this through, I can only guess that something like all but removing moderates will be next since they can also be annoying, yet they can also be avoided easily enough on an important weapon.

I agree, but I'm hoping that some of this ADK sales killer is fought against when the CU comes out. I'm guessing/hoping that us WS's are going to be making a much bigger collection of our weapons as what weapons are useful in certain situations changes.

Is this in the patch notes? I've never seen it before.

This was in the patch notes for 13.1 I believe. Just that everybody was so fired up about ADKs and GCW stuff that nobody noticed. I just kinda wonder if it's them trying to explain away the "iron bug" or whatever it is that skews all the spawns to iron.

I agree... I personally think there should be a dev designated to handle each class, then maybe we'd have more than a "please dont do this" or a "please change this back before it ruins us all" like we have now, to someone who can actually stand up and fight against these stupid ass ideas that are being thrust upon us all. I dont care about the naysayers, there's only what... two of those? They're probably devs anyways >_>
SWG is perfect, this is why I play SWG... I dont pay to play WoW, and if it changes that way, I'll find somewhere else to be SWG for me.
