Yellow cubes = dam/speed

Green cubes = increased max condition

White cubes = no bonus

Red cubes = HAM use reduction

Given the DXR's low base condition, green cubes make most sense to me, but everyone I've made one for wants yellow cubes. /shrug It's their gun and their cubes, so I make the customer what they want.

Green Cubes are the way to go... I'm making 187-350 damage 5.9 speed DXR6-b's on Radiant using 800ish Titan Aluminum (we haven't had a really good one yet). With base 250 condition Green Cubes I can hit 1089 Condition. With a rifle doing this much damage, what is an extra 10 min 10 max when it comes down to the slice. I'd rather have a rifle with 300+ to 400+ more condition, it'll last the rifleman a lot longer than the minor damage boost from yellow cubes. I have some 550 Condition Cubes also, so Greens can double from the base cube...

Hi knowledgable Weaponsmiths -

What kind of cubes "stick" when crafting the Tenloss DXR-6B rifle? Seems many types can go into the schem.. but one experienced weaponsmith told me to have green cubes used for it... Do yellow cubes modify damage/speed?

Thanks.

yes, yellow cubes will work but the end condition of the weapon will be around 800. not worth it [for me]. stick with green cubes for DXR-6 rifles [unless you had some super-dooper yellow cubes]

I'm glad I looked this up. I just looted this schematic and i'm a rifleman and I'll give you ol' weaponsmiths a hint...

As a rifleman - we want damage or low mind use. If you're going to make a good gun that will sell for a pretty penny forget all about condition. It may seem more economical but a little more damage and we can bring down that Rancor (or whatever) before it reaches us. Also the lower the mind use the more we can spam our headshots or whatever without having to hit the muon. These are big concerns for the rifleman ou there.

Just as a side point, bashing the economical side of some people's thinking, if you get your hands on some krayt tissues don't make a few smaller guns - throw them into a single T21. When I was grinding I bought a krayt E11 and I know that it takes less tissues to make but it's now useless to me. My crappy 350 max damage grinding T21 easily outdamages it.

just some things to keep in mind. We want to have a really good weapon to pull out for when we need it and use the average rifles for the grinding.

btw - thanks for the cube information, now I know what to get.

I make 1 T21 and I put all my eggs in one basket...plus the increase in damage will probably be eaten up in a slice anyway. I make 2 jawas or a jawa and a DXR and I have twice the chance at a good slice. I make 5 mod republics or 2 geos and a mod republic and I have even better chances at hitting a good slice. You see where this is going.

BTW...I'm also a rifleman. I use my green cube DXR for PvE because I can chain run P-ups on it without having to replace it after a few juvie krayt hunts. I've also sliced about 20 yellow dxrs and 50 green dxrs in the last couple months...the 10 or so extra damage on the yellow DXRs only showed up in a couple slices. The much easier to get green cubes produced the quantity that allowed chance to produce the quality of good slices. If I get yellow cubes, they'll usually go into something that they're more visible in...such as geo pistols, stun batons. Scythe cores if I can get the stack of 7...just because people expect it...not that it matters that much.

I thought I'd weigh in on this issue simply because there was another rifleman offering his opinion on what riflemen want. There are some out there that only want yellow cubes used in their rifles, and when I first started having DXRs custom made for me, that's the route I went to. I've probably had 50 DXRs made for me now, and I will only use yellow cubes if I am out of green cubes, or if I have some great yellow cubes and feel like taking a gamble. As many weaponsmiths have said so far, that 10 extra damage from base cubes just isn't worth it. Every rifle I have made is going to be sliced, and I want to be able to use the ones that get a decent slice for more than a few hunting trips. Basically what it comes down to is when I have a batch of rifles made and then have them sliced, I can either end up witha couple of 480-500 dmg rifles with 800 condition, or acouple480-500 dmg rifleswith 1100 condition. I'll take the latter every time.

Yellows ONLY add to min and max damage, they do nothing for speed what-so-ever...
