Hi everyone, I couldnt see any links to web sites which actually show what ech weapon looks like so I thought I'd ask.

I'm after the same kind of pistol that Han and Luke use in the films and I'm pretty sure that the DL44 is it but I thought I'd check if there were any other pistols that either look like the DL44 or look more like the ones Han/Luke use

Yes, it's the DL44. To make the DL44 from the game look more like the real deal, you need to have it hand-made for you (as opposed to coming from a factory) and have the following pieces:

Han Solo DL44 (from ANH -- my personal favorite):

DL44 (obviously)

Type-2 scope (the long black scope)

Type-1 barrel

Han Solo DL44 (from ESB)

DL44

Type-5 (I think) barrel (the silver one)

Type-? scope (it'll be the shorter one with the mount in the middle -- you'll want it to be the one that's more tubular rather than tapered -- you'll see what I mean).

For a while I always were eqiupped with DL44 blaster when I wasn't out hunting (then I had my carbine). The DL44 should have been made the best pistol in the game IMHO.

I like the silver muzzle and silver scope best, on a black, standard, DL44.

A well made DL44 with a good scope can be quite powerful. They're great for one-shotting the low level critters you see on harvester runs. But yeah, I wish the DL44 had been made a more powerful pistol. Still, with the upcoming weapon changes, it may end up being pretty powerful, depending on how they do the changes.
