I was reading the Stratics chat transcript and apparently there are new weapons on the way

Anybody have any info on the new weapons?

Are they on testcenter yet?

Only thing I heard was that there'd be multiple levels of weapons, like master T21s and novice T21s. That was from TH's first post about the combat changes, or it might've been a followup post in the same thread.

The game system is bulging as is, and doesn't have room for such data. As was suggested above though, different "levels" seem possible...

They can still add new weapons. Hell, if they can stick in vehicles, mounts, cities, etc., they can add a few more schematics. Besides, tweaking the existing weapons to have a number of ranges for experience will be much more intensive on the database than just adding another pistol that does cold damage or something.

I have read several posts by the Dev's ... and not only do they plan on adding more 'levels' to the guns ... (aka Master Level T21's vs Novice Level T21's -- from a novice to master rifleman perspective) ... to added *new* guns to fill holes or to give varieties.

So .. hold on to your hats ... I just hope they use resources that are already used in other weapons and don't make us track 6-10 more named resources :-)
