1. Does all iron have incredibly poor conductivity?

A: Yes. Iron is not as conductive as say, Copper, so you won't see Iron hitting 900+ Conductivity ranges. "Good" averages forhigh-end Irons hang around ~500.

2. What is the point of projectile rifle barrels if there is only one schem that uses them?

A: Currently, its only use is within the Tusken Rifle.

3. When crafting weapons can I play the averages? Is it possible to make up for a low resource stat by using other with higher stats or will this just make a mediocre gun?

A: It depends on the percentages. As far as 50% OQ/50% CD weapons go, most use this rule of thumb: Add the Conductivity and the Overall Quality stats of the resources and use the metal with the highest sum. But percentages can lie and no one smith is able to be absolutely certain of the proportions within our schematics and how much resources/stats affect them. Best to just experiment with what you've got.

4. Why do some of the basic melee weapons have ridiculous Armor Penetration values?

A: Part of the grand scale of Melee design, I suppose.

5. What speeds should I be shooting for with rifles? Is an E11 rifle speed 5 damage 88-162 a rifle that anyone is going to buy?

A: Server specific, really, check out the competition on your Galaxy. Rifles also vary significantly in speed and what components are used.

6. Advanced blaster barrels seem to have minimal affect on my weapons. Is this my choice of resources or just a common issue with advanced blaster barrels?

A: Common issue. Advanced Blaster Barrels depend off of resources that greatly limit their potential. They're mostly situational components.

7. Why do projectile weapons still regard quality and conductivity as the basis for experimentation when their components use Heat Resistance and Shock resistance?

A: Because otherwise, the FWG5 would have been nerfed six days after release, instead of six months.

8. The Republic blaster is usable by anyone? This weapon appears to have become what FWG5's used to be if not better because of the Light Armor rating. Should we be demanding a nerf here or at least a proper certification?

A: See stickied threads.

9. The Beam Rifle is still uncertified. Too bad I make a nice beam rifle that no one will ever use. Will this change?

A: " "

10. What damage and speeds should I be shoting for with Heavy Weapons?

A: Server-specific.

11. Do you buy your resources or harvest them?

A: Both.

12. Should I get another factory?

A: Do you need another factory?

I'm slowly working my way to master on Bloodfin. Right now I make decent newbie weapons that I price to sell quickly. I have some questions which maybe you folks can help me with. Thanks in advance for the response.

1. Does all iron have incredibly poor conductivity?

2. What is the point of projectile rifle barrels if there is only one schem that uses them? I know for a fact that it's probably one of the most commonly crafted items by weaponsmiths but only one weapon can use it. (Is there something at master that these are used for?)

3. When crafting weapons can I play the averages? Is it possible to make up for a low resource stat by using other with higher stats or will this just make a mediocre gun?

4. Why do some of the basic melee weapons have ridiculous Armor Penetration values?

5. What speeds should I be shooting for with rifles?

5.a. Is an E11 rifle speed 5 damage 88-162 a rifle that anyone is going to buy? (unsliced)

6. Advanced blaster barrels seem to have minimal affect on my weapons. Is this my choice of resources or just a common issue with advanced blaster barrels?

7. Why do projectile weapons still regard quality and conductivity as the basis for experimentation when their components use Heat Resistance and Shock resistance?

8. The Republic blaster is usable by anyone? This weapon appears to have become what FWG5's used to be if not better because of the Light Armor rating. Should we be demanding a nerf here or at least a proper certification?

9. The Beam Rifle is still uncertified. Too bad I make a nice beam rifle that no one will ever use. Will this change?

10. What damage and speeds should I be shoting for with Heavy Weapons?

11. Do you buy your resources or harvest them?

12. Should I get another factory?

Given the choice between style over substance. I'll take a sandwich.
