Thread: Gated resources?

What are they? Im a little confused on it. Thanks for any help. Im starting a weaponsmith career and these keep coming up in posts.

Gated resources are resources with hard-coded caps on their stats. For example, Corellian Deciduous Wood (used in advancedstocks)has a gated SR of 700, meaning you will likely never find any with an SR over 700.

Is there a list of all the gated resources? If not, can people start posting what they know here so we can have a list?

look in swg.com for old resources. That way you get an idea of whats gated and what is not. Allgated/steel/copper/gems. The list is way too long. You will see in swg.com what attributes become gated to which resource.
