bump for a good idea, even if it doesnt decrease DB load by much itll make my SWG life much easier! im sick of losing all the space i have to stacks of resources, i had to make a tough call and clear up some space in my shop because i just have to have a display case, its neat and alot of my customers stop too look at it and comment on it, i enjoyed setting it up with the new move up commands too. lets take this to the devs, logix could you help us out a bit maam?
thank you darlin'

Please pardon me if I'm missing something, but how do these proposals ease database load?
I see how they give the CRAFTER more room...that much is obvious. Your 10 stacks of 50 become one stack of 500, so you now have 9 free spaces. And they certainly make a crafter's life easier. I'm all for that.
But won't people just fill up their newly gleaned free space with more stuff? In the example above, I now have 9 free spaces after consolidating 10 stacks into 1. Are people saying nobody would use these new free 9 spaces? I know I would. I'd fill those 9 spaces up quick. So I'm really not easing any database load, am I?

Great idea, but i would be glad if they only increased stack size and not lessening space reqs, like this:
Resources can stack infinitely high, but for every 100k it would take up one inv space so a 1M stack of resources would take up 10 inv lotsand still be one stack.

Yes.

At the VERY, VERY LEAST make all crates hold 100 items, and allow us to STACK crates with the same SNs...
PLEASE..

Restackable crates would be awesome. Even if they didn't change the crate sizes, just being able to restack crates would be great. I can't tell you how many 2 and 3 unit crates I end up with after factory runs, just because of the order the factory pulls crates in.
