I was wondering if anyone has created pistols using projectile feed mechs made with spider fang enhancements,and what kind of effect these fangs had on the final results. I have a couple sets of spider fangs ranging from +15 max damage to +36 max damage with moderate improvements to speed and health cost and was wondering what kind of pistol they would produce compared to a pistol without them using the same resources.

Yeah I've made a run of Featherweight FWGs with a set of 9. They come out with the stats added to whatever the base featherweight is. The HAM bonus did NOT carry through in the adv PFM and since this cannot be used in anything else I don't know why it didn't.

As an experiment I made a tangle with one of these too, but you can't fix a borked gun even with "uber-loot".

People have made plain old FWGs with these and have gotten pre-nerf stats so they are prolly best used in those or maybe in a spraystick if you like rifles...

Dev' Eloper uses Combat Balance Reschedule on you for 6-8 months worth of damage points!

I was cleaning out my store house and I came across 9 identical spider fangs, stats were like 33 to damage, -1.0012 speed or something like that not sure. -8 ham cost or whatever. Was wondering are these valuable? If so, around what range are we talking?

Spider Fangs are an often overlooked loot, since they are used to enhance projectile feed mechanisms, they are not nearly as popular as others such as krayt tissue etc.

I personally find them great for making beserker rifles, tusken rifles, launcher and tangle pistols.

With 9 matching you could make a set of 8 and use in a rocket launcher, but IMO that would be a waste since it is a limited use weapon.

Have never tried using them in a spraystick, that might be a decent upgrade, but spraystick isnt a very popular rifle.

Couldnt tell you if they are very valuable or not, try asking on your servers trade forum and see what kind of offers you get.

I would maybe look at using them in an fwg5 pistol..just my 2 cents

If your stats are correct those are very nice Fangs. They'd be great in Launcher Pistols or FWG5. I would never use them in somehting that takes more thatn one Advanced Projectile Feed Mechanism. It would be a complete waste IMO.

I agree with previous posters...those things fit nicely in launcher pistols and Berzerker rifles (if you can get your hands on a schematic and barrel)

Spider fangs make very nice FWG's IMO. Almost every pisotleer I know carries one, I know I do.
