It is random ans might take weeks or even months... i would suggest you grind barrels to get master.

Also take a look on the bazaar. You actually find alot of good resources there

I just started an alt character ginding weaponsmith on Bloodfin. Ive been using the quick Munitions grind and am having a problem finding the proper resourses. I always assumed that resources shifted from planet to planet but were always available. Since becoming a novice weaponsmith, I've come to realize that this is far from the truth. I have a need for Thoranium steel, Skevon gas and Hydron 3 inert and have found that these are non-existant on bloodfin. My question is how long does it take for resources like these to become available again. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

I think all of these have been on bloodfin in the last month as well, try doing a search of all listed resource vendors. I often pick up some good bargains spending a day doing this.

Thanks for all the info. I have to tell you, I have a new respect for MasterWS. This is the worst grind of any profession done yet. I mastered most of BH before speeders and it wasa breeze compared to WS. They really need to bump up the XP you get from crafting.
