Just wondering if there is such thing as a rifle that has a good point blank range. I've been looking around a few vendors and so far all rifles are pretty bad at close range.
Right now I have a rifle that has a good ideal range at 60m, I am looking for a rifle that I can switch to in close combat but not sure if there is such thing. Am I right to assume that all rifles were designed to be best at long range?
Thanks.

Well, the CDEF has a positive accuracy at point blank....but you probably wouldn't want it anyway.

rifles are fora RANGED PROFESSION, if ya have a good point blank range it wipes the melee pros out cause you can do the same if not better damage than themat close range.thats why they have really good range mods at ideal or max cause thats where they belong.

Take a look at the spraystick as a possible option. They count as rifle xp & have an AoE attack. Not the highest damage weapon by any means, but might be what you're looking for to switch to when the mob gets in close...

My rifleman alt used a spraystick for point blank until his accuracy mod was high enough to overcome the low PB on normal rifles.
