Right, I've only read bits about this, so I dunno how accurate this is:
Apparently on TC, there's a new Resource judgement thing as part of the crafting, in that you get a little bar indicating how good your resource is in this schematic.
I'm curious: does this work for components?
I'm even more curious: If so, does this gauge Yellow Barrels for the DE-10?
Just some random thoughts.

It does the math for you by calculating 50%OQ& 50%CD for example, and displays a meter showing how good the resource is in the slot.
It will be really good for new players, but if you are an experienced player I don't think it will be useful as it is only a meter i.e. no exact numbers.

I'll be curious to see how it handles schematics where some resources are missing a calculated value.
We all know that CD is far more important in Phrik and Diatium than the 66% the ABPH schematic would lead you to believe, based on the fact that the 10 units of polymer, 5 unit of Ostrine, and 16 units of Irolunn don't have CD. This drastically weights the CD in the 13 units of metals.
Will this feature take that into account? Or is this just going to mislead less experienced crafters into thinking they have the best materials when in fact they don't?

Actually it does show numbers!
Check out the screenshot in the first post of this thread:

I think it looks handy even though I probably won't pay too much attention to it. I really wish they'd remove the dialog box after every experimentation attempt. :/

Basically they are just incorporating Fooman's tool within the game itself. If you use Fooman's (or Jenner's) tool you already get those results. In fact with these tools I've been calculating what the max possible percentage you can get on each weapon so I know how close I am to the perfect weapon.
For example if I did my calculation right T21's max out around 72.6 experimentation.
Once I'm done perhaps I'll post a chart.
