if it says 5,50,1.0 its trash and I would suggest using anything without somewhere on 80-90 on the max damage

they go into the sword themselves, not the advanced cores. call up the sword schematic, curved sword, etc. you will see it replaces the core.

like it was stated by others above it goes into creating any weapon needing a sword core. (swords) but with a +1.0 to spd it will slow down the sword to where the dmg /spd ratio Vs. a regular made sword would make it worse in the end, and i have not seen a rancor tooth that has high enough stats dmg wise to off set the horrid speed it adds... it seems to me from the teeth i have seen the higher the dmg the tooth does the greater the speed penalty is

How much would a bile-soaked rancor tooth get me on the market? I have a few, which is why I'm wondering. I haven't heard much about 'em.

Rancor Teeth and the Bile-Soaked ones(usually gotten as a reward from Jabba's themepark) are replacements for Sword components(I believe the sword core). In general, these are not better than what the armorsmith can make themselves with good materials.

The Bile soaked ones are nice in some ways though. They give a very nice boost to maximum damage and wound chance on the sword they are used in. But, the speed and HAM costs are absolutely horrible on weapons that use these.

There probably is a market for them, but, if I were to guess, they would be worth around the same as something like a voritor segment. Maybe a little more just simply because the bile drenched ones are rarer. You might want to check the weaponsmith forum to get a better idea of what these can do.

put into 2handed curved Swords?

if so what max damage would you think it would make

it totally depends on the stats,unless their over 100 i wouldnt bother using them as they will just make the weapon worse imo

I looted 7 rancor teeth with the following stats:

spd .751

min dmg 8

max dmg 86

My toon is a fencer/swordsman/tka. What, if any, weps could be made from those teeth that would be "good"?

Any help is appreciated.

Unless max damage is over 100 it's not worth putting into anything. They are used in weapons that require sword cores. As you noticed the spd is +.751, that means the weapon will be almost 1 second slower.

Just for reference advance sword cores made by WS are usually 42-42 -0.58. So with these teeth you lose 34 min, gain 44 max and lose 1.33 seconds in spd
