Elite Carbine's really aren't worth the time or effort generally.

Unless you do PVP with a carbine. The min damage is muchhigher than the laser carbine , which makes the damage mitigation less. I actually get a fair amount of requests for these.

Over the past year of being a ws twice, I have made the best, 3.1 84-320 laser carbine and 3.0 150-244 Elite and E11's aren't half bad too if the Plumbum iron stops sucking and can do 2.8 110-200 if I remember.
DXR6 carbine for PVP, they're capable of doing 3.7 160-250 before slice and PSGs are vuln to acid.

It should be pointed out that all of these numbers are weapons with advanced stocks on them. Though I can't reconcile the speed with the damage numbers posted in the last reply, the damage numbers are certainly stocked weapons.

Hi guys. Just made a WS with my alt, and was browsing the WS side of the forums. 
I've been a carbineer for as long as I can remember. Spunky is right about the DXR6. Up until a few months ago, my main 2 PvP carbines were the Elite and the Laser. To keep it short and simple, the laser is good against all melee guys that don't have ranged mit 3. Up until about a month or so ago, the elite was my main carbine. With the added popularity of PSGs in the game, the DXR6 has become the PvP carbine of choice for most carbineers and BHs. It's damage is comparible the the elite, and the acid punches right through PSGs. If you want to read more about the comparisons, head over to the carbineer forums. There are MANY frieldly people over there (don't get TAFirehawk riled up lol). There is also a great great FAQ with some very valuable info on our weapons.

Hi:
New WS here. Can someone tell me what the highest possible damge is on a Laser and Elite Carbine unsliced I know it all depends on resources but I am just curious as to some of the highest possible damage for the weapons unsliced.

My Lasers are generally around 315 max damage. Elite's are a bit lower, can't remember off hand, I'm thinking around 240ish range could be wrong though.

I think some of the guys on Corbantis are starting to pick up on the Elite Carbine. I had one of my Elite's get a 35% dmg slice, and a couple carbineer buddies of mine jumped on it like flies on poo doo
