there is an excel tool thats very helpfull, it is callef foomans weaponsmith tool (and a modified verison called jenner and foomans tool, this is more updated until fooman release his 7.0 version)

you can download it from swgcraft.com forum in weaponsmith forum.

this tool allow you to enter all your resources and it's stats and amount.
the tool calculate best resources for each schematic and you can auto import latest resource spawns
from swgcraft.com, then the tool tells you if something new spawned and how it compare to your
current resource stock, this allow you to always be updated on the latest spawn of resources.
