sory for the newbish question guys,but hoping someone can help 
Im not a wep smith,but would like to gather my own components,and have a wep smith friend combine for me..
Im not a wep smith,but would like to gather my own components,and have a wep smith friend combine for me..Basicly,i was curious how well A curved sword or gaffy baton can be made ..What i mean is,.. What would be needed to make a GOOD unsliced curved sword or gaffy baton?.. what components would i need to gather? Im hoping i can somehow conjure something up to make a 300+ dmg unsliced curved sword or gaffy baton...maybe even 350dmg..is it possible ? Plz dont flame me,.came here for help

The only way that you'd be able to make something with that kind of damage is with some really Uber Rancor Teeth (Curved Sword) or Acklay Bones (Gaffi).
Things with those kind of stats would easily run into the millions, so it isn't really all that feasible.

I have some rancor teeth that are 118 max damage and some 1000 SR steel ...made a couple of swords 1 and 2 hand the 2 handed had a max damage of 346 unsliced

Yeah, for the gaderrffii you need some high end Acklay bones, i think a 69/164 got one of my gaderrfis to 350 so thats about what you need there. as for curved sword, you could work on some rancor teeth, but you would need 170 max one to break 300, not to mention almost all other mods except max dmg will be pretty bad. so your best bet is to try and find some uber acklay bones for a gaderffi & Stun Baton, and don't worry about the curved sword.

thank you ...i will be searching for some good akley bones..should i also be looking for yellow cubes or anything else to boost the dmg on the gaffy?

Well, You could go that route instead of acklay for the gaderrffii, as a WS could make one using yellow cubes and pastes and get around 250-260 max depending on a few things, tho the speed and range mods will be better this way, its not going to get you into the dmg range your looking for. But you cannot use bothe yellow cubes and an acklay bone in any weapon...

ty much,helps alot ..gona start keeping an eye out for some nice akcley bones for sale,.maybe even go farm him one weekend..Anyone can give me a rough estimate on how high dmg a gaffy baton will get with ackley bones...Example...40/80 cuves give rougly 200 max unsliced..etc

well my base gaderrffiis are made with 41/41 cores and turn out at 221...so figure 180 is pretty standard without a core for one...so add, say 65 for a base bone, and you get 245..or get a really uber bone, say 180, and your at 360...now this is just an estimate as reasources on diffrent serves vary ect.
