Thread: What is the status on repair bonus?

A long time ago I remember that some did some testign on repairs and found out that neither repair skill tapes or weaponsmith helped when doing reapirs. But have this changed? I know one armorsmith that swears that her +20 repair skills help a lot
And now we have alsoFS repair skills. Since they introduced those devs migh also had fixed repair bonus from skill tapes.
Also, how about surveying? Before surveying skill tapes would not increase your range nut FS surveying do? Do those skill tapes work now?

I don't know about the repair tapes. I'm +11 but haven't done enough repairs to notice a difference. There is definitely a difference though being a weaponsmith. Non-smiths often get bad results. Since becoming a weaponsmith I've repaired hundreds of weapons, and while I don't get many minor blemish repairs, I rarely get a failure.
