Thread: Building Carbines (Helping a Noob)
It is better to go and get some Imperial Retreat Loot Stocks, and pair them with advanced scopes. Have them make you two or three Laser Carbs and then go and get them sliced. A normal Laser will be 80-330ish speed 3.9, with a Imp Retreat Stock you will get a 80-320ish speed 2.9. With a 30% damage slice and min/max PU your gun will be 135 -
553 speed 2.9 with low ham and +100 accuracy.

So is there something I should specifically ask a Master Weaponsmith for?
I don't plan on dabbling in BH so a fast Laser Carb would be very nice! Let's say I could give a WS a list of specific parts - what should I ask for including values?
Ask him to hand craft the carbine, meaning take the barrel out of the crate, take the scope out of the crate. It's a lil bit of a pain, but shouldn't cost you anything more and makes the scope/barrel appear on the weapon. Although, you're the only seeing it, it's still fun if you ever want to display it.
I was a carbineer for a while, all my carbines were crafted with
Non-advanced Blaster Riffle Barrels
Advanced Scopes experimented on Accuracy.
Form-Fitted Stock (Emperor's Retreat loot).
Krayt tissues are fun to have and if you're planning on putting some Form-Fitted Stocks, take the time to find the tissues.Even base tissues will help you speed wise so ![]()
I'd go with -0.50's if I had a choice or lower. (like +50 max damage -0.50 Speed tissues). Yes, those will cost you a pretty penny, but it's worth it.
Nothing like hitting a melee stacker for 1200 while he's kd/dizzied on the floor ![]()
